Pre Text
-These rules are largely based on the MILSIM.dk rules.
-But the rules are not the same and should not be mixed up.
The purpose of the MILSIM.dk game and Roadside Picnic differ slightly and therefore the rules are not exactly the same.
-Common rules such as safety distances and weapons are quite similar, but subsequently there are some deviations.
We would like to thank MILSIM.dk for providing strong inspiration for the rules.
-Weapons are generally only to be used in SEMI mode.
Deviations from this only apply to LSW / LMG / HMG.
-Max 25 RPS on all weapons, but we prefer to keep
around 15 RPS and no -BINARY TRIGGERS- are allowed.
-Weapon appearance must be kept realistic.
-You may bring as many magazines as you want to carry.
-Rifle magazines may contain a maximum of 80 BB’s.
-Sniper/DMR magazines may contain a maximum of 30 BB’s.
-We don't enforce a physical block to the magazine cap.
Random checks are to be expected.
-Extra BB’s - Each player except LMG/ LSW, may carry 800 extra BB’s in their kit, unaffected by the count of BB's in their magazine and how many magazines they carry.
An additional 800 BB's may be carried with you if RSP is included in your mission TEXT.
These additional 800 BB's may only be carried in a backpack and can only be accesed when you as a player is in a RSP
-LMG / LSW may have 500 BB’s in the magazine.
Each Full TEAM may take a maximum of 2 LMG / LSV
on a mission.
Extra reloads for these weapon types must be in containers, corresponding to the content and size of the magazine mounted on the weapon as if you were carrying extra magazines.
An additional amount equal to your total BBs may be brought with you if RSP is included in the Mission.
These additional BB's may only be carried in a backpack and can only be accesed when you as a player is in a RSP
-Extra LMG magazine. Made either from a cardboard box the same size as the one on your LMG or an old defective magazine. Which holds 500 BB's.
Don't build your setup to exploit the rules.
Don't be that guy
Weapon types and the Caristicas
Weapon types can be below its max joule valuo, but not above its max value, see table above.
-Based on a large number of inquiries, we have felt it necessary to make a rule that describes the marking of the weapons you want to use for the event.
The marking is a zip-tie in a color defined by us..
You must install this zip-tie yourself before you get to the event.
The zip-tie must be used during checks. This is to give the person who chronographs you a clear indication of how fast your gun is allowed to shoot, and how far your safety distance should be. The zip-tie must be mounted visible on the gun.
No zip-tie = warning!
-Chronographing will be carried out as a random check. Both on the field and in the FOB.
-A fixed chronograph will be set up in the FOB. This is for free use by players and will be used for random checks.
-If your weapon shoots significantly too hard or has a significantly too high ROF it will result in a warning!
-If your weapon, on the other hand, is just over the limit, it will not result in a warning but a remark.
-If you are significantly or marginally over, you will be asked to correct the error. However, be assured that you will be checked again.
-If you are significantly over again, you will be sent to the main organizer where you must explain why you have not corrected your error. If you are caught twice with a weapon that shoots too hard, it may result in an expulsion.
-During an event, a judge or organizer can always ask to see a magazine and check the BB’s type and, if necessary, carry out a control Chrono of the rifle.
If the rifle shoots noticeably too hard, the wrong BB type is used, or there are other direct violations of the rules, the player will receive a warning.
With more than two warnings, you are not welcome for 365 days and you are asked to leave the playing area immediately.
-BB’s used for events are:
Bioplastic BB in dark colors purchased in the EU. The BB must meet European Standard EN 13432
-Precision shooting / DMR rifles are exempt from the rule about dark BB’s, however, onlyBB’s OVER 0.40gr. apply as there are currently no heavy enough BB’s in dark colors that are BIO.
-Tracers may be used if BIOplastic. TRACERS MAY ONLY BE USED DURING THE PERIOD NAMED, DARK PERIOD.
The main reason for our decision to not allow the use of lighter coloured BB's, is to maintain a good cooperation with the Armed Forces regarding the use of their terrain, as a white BB is easy to spot vs. a dark BB, which makes the cleanup burden with white BB’s significantly higher.
SEE COLOR SCALE ON NEXT PAGE
The definition of dark can be difficult.
That's why we've created a list of suggested BB you can use at our events.
If you choose to use different BB’s You must send an email to Roadsidepicnic@gmail.com
And have them approved in a timely fashion.

Mines and grenades.
-We are not allowed to use pyrotechnics . Therefore, the following may not be used:
-Mines and grenades that make noise due to pyrotechnical effect. Objects that generate smoke or otherwise use pyrotechnics,
Organizer EXCEPTED!!
-Spring and gas-operated mines and grenades may be used, these must throw out BB’s
-Hits are registered as normal, with the person being hit by the BB.
When using BB throwing grenades/ Mines. The kill radius is automatically +-2m. If you are hit by a BB beyond the 2m range it counts as a hit. This rule is in effect inside and outside.
-All this is to make CQB possible.
- Grenades that is okay to use
- Grenade that has no effect
-Roadside Picnic deviates from MILSIM.dk medic rules.
-A hit is a hit. All hits apply from all angles, on weapons and anything that sticks out.
-When you are hit, you clearly signal that you are hit (shout & wave)
-You take out your death rag, marking yourself as hit and lie down.
(In the dark, Red light visible from all angles and lie down)
-5 min mandatory bleed out. If you apply a Tourniquet + 5 min. When expired, go to spawn.
-If you are lying right in the line of fire, you may move away.
If you do this, you cannot be revived while the firefight is active in the area you moved from!
-Moving the wounded:
1# You emergency move the wounded 100% correctly(carry, drag, etc.) - no restrictions!!
2# If the wounded helps, you may only !!WALK!! at a normal pace, but here a simple tap on the shoulder is enough to force him to move.
-You can spawn from a ROLE 1, FOB or RSP.
Timings for respawn will be indicated at the spawn point, and/or in your mission text.
Example:
Every full and half hour, or quarter to and quarter past every hour.
-Other special rules may be active for events.
Medic og bandages
-Everyone can apply bandages to players from their own faction, but not other factions.
-Apply the player's own bandage.
-Bandaging/revival takes 60 seconds. The 60 sec. starts when you start applying the bandage!
-It is your responsibility to have the number of bandages with you that you are allowed to apply.
-You are welcome to show where your bandage is, but you are not allowed to hand it to the healing player.
-Bandages come in many shapes and types, common to all of them is that they stop the bleeding, this is by wrapping a piece of fabric around the wound.
-Below are some examples of what bandages could look like, common is that they need to be wrapped around the wound several times, the bandages shown are closed with Velcro, which is a very practical closing method.
-Note that it is not like a sweatband that is closed in advance, but a long piece of fabric that needs to be wrapped.
-Formal minimum requirements for the size of the dressing are 4 x 75cm
Army issued with velcro
Home made bandage with velcro
-Tourniquets also come in many shapes and sizes.
The common thing is that they are applied to limit bleeding in an area, typically by applying pressure to arteries.
We don't need this
to function when playing airsoft.
1#
No personal protection.
1 x Bandages.
Bleedout 5 min.

The landowner has banned drones!!
Vehicles are subject to major restrictions and will be allowed at certain events.
However, the permission and use of vehicles may change from event to event.
Therefore, stay informed about the rules for these for the specific event you are going to participate in.
If an object has the same number as your current task, you are allowed to interact with it, otherwise objects must stay where they are.
-You are allowed to look at things, pick things up and read them, but they must be left in the same place you found them.
-You are not allowed, even if you may be able to, to force your way into closed areas.
-If your current task, for example, is #24, you are only allowed to interact with objects with #24 on them. Whether it is cutting along a black line, taking a picture, or returning it, by specific order.
-If the code, for example, is called #24 1/3, it means you have found object 1 out of the 3 objects in the task, so you must find 2 more.
-Objects can also be interaction with a computer. In this case you must start the computer and follow the instructions you have been given in your task.
-If you need to download a file, you must transfer the file to the device you have been given for this.
-If you need to find a safe, you can use the code you have been given or found to open it.
When you have found what you need, close all you have opened to get it!
This means doors, drawers, safes, etc. If you opened it. Close it when you are done.
You are allowed to share pincodes and other intel with the rest of you faction, if you so choose.
Objective Tags or Markings are indicated by a ribbon approx. 5cm wide or a tape strip 2,5cm wide.
Objectives can also be objects painted in yellow such as hard cases or other physical items.
In general it is yellow and has a number that corresponds to the given mission.
Yellow - Associated with tasks, check the number for interaction with the object.
Yellow ribbon with black line - Cut along the entire black marked line that runs along the strip.
White - Is an obstacle and cannot be passed. Imagine barbed wire. The yellow tapes (no task code) tied on each end must be solved before the white marking can be packed down and passed.
Red - Be especially careful, typically used in connection with spawning. Red strip across an opening = NO-GO!! Stay out!! There may be specific teams that have been given permission to go through, and in that case they will be informed about this.
If there is RED on a door, it is a ONE WAY only door, meaning it can only be opened from the opposite side.
